Installed mine today on my SR5.

Painless installation...now the wait for nightfall.

Don't get me wrong, here on the Alabama Gulf Coast it was hot at the opening of my garage.

I've been looking on ebay to see if there's any cheaper used oem led headlights but most of them have broken tabs or "fixed tabs". Does anyone know if headlights with broken tabs can still go on the truck without being shaken loose when driving or cause any kind of failures? What are fixed or repaired tabs? Are they still good to use?

There's only 2 tabs and they're critical for mounting/securing to the truck. Think JB Plastic weld or some type of epoxy. It's piss poor engineered design imo as they're notorious for breaking during shipment.

You might send a PM to @no vtec 4me for a price as I think he's repaired a few broken tabs and I know he does some pretty trick customizations.

Oof, thanks man. Didn't realize it was only two tabs and how fragile they are. Guess my instincts were right, I didn't actually expect to buy a set off ebay but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask anyways.

Juice isn’t with the squeeze on used / broken. Wait for $1100 a pair and buy new.

    First post here!

I have the non-Pro LED’s that I will be installing into my 2019 TRD OR. They’re replacing my Morimoto XB Gen 1’s that are absolute garbage and unsafe.

It seams the awesome harness that everyone uses are now unobtainabium as the online store says they’re not accepting orders. This forced me to buy the TRS harnesses. Has anyone used a TRS harness recently to see if the polarity issue has been fixed? If not, I’ll simply flip the low beams and secure with shrink wrap, but I’d expect better from TRS.

I plan on installing them this evening so I’ll report back. If anyone has any intel on obtaining a daveeasa harness, please share. If not, I might re-pin everything into a Molex connection.

His site says he will resume taking orders on the 15th. I’d wait if I were you.

Huge day of moving for me today. I’m sleeping on a hard wood floor tonight. Left my air mattress in my bro in law’s truck the last time we hauled horses.

never moved an entire household in my life before today. And I did two pre-moves as well, one with a 15’ u haul last weekend. Moving is serious work. I burned out 3 dudes for 10.5 hours and I was not slacking myself.

I have tons of stock. I just need a little bit of time to get this whole move thing done. I closed the store because it’s really not cool to take money without the ability to ship promptly. I pride myself on that and I have two DIR orders which have sat for close to a week because of parts I took up with the first move.

Did I mention that moving is hard?

I just moved almost exactly a year ago and it is among my least favorite things to do.

I actually referenced one of your earlier threads to make my existing TRS harness work. Lights are installed and working perfectly. That said, I’ll probably swap to your harness at some point just for a cleaner, tape free install.

A 1.5mm flathead screwdriver should allow you to flip the connector. Pry the plastic tab away from the terminal and pull back at the same time with your other hand. Pretty easy once you know what you are doing, harder the first time.

Just did the thing. A couple of broken fender flare tabs were the result, but Dave came through with the extra pair. It’s night and day in terms of looks and visibility!
