What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I know wall shots don't mean poo in the scheme of it all, but daaaang. The quad high beams are simply insane.

 

Looking at the same Rago Fab / Max Traxs setup. Looks like the length of the boards may not allow them to be mounted any lower. Is that the case?

 

No joke. I’ve never seen that color on a Tacoma before

 

Does the AVS bug deflector hit the top of the surround at all? Or touch the top of the headlights and push down hard on them?

 

not at all. The fit is actually very good. I can post some closeups tomorrow

 

Yes if you don’t mind. I tried the AVS and Weathertech and both hit the top corners of the surround and push down hard on the highlights.

 

They do make a difference.

i replaced mine a few weeks ago. It’s pretty straight forward and simple, just a couple of bolts and clip the sides back to where it meets the fender. Just takes a few minutes to unclip the grill and wheel well surround.

This is how I wanted to mount mine as well, but its to tight at the fender for the manifold with the solenoids installed.

 

Finally finished my chrome delete.

Also added a matte screen protector on the 8inch screen. Probably can’t tell from the picture but no more fingerprints or reflections. Took a while to find a screen protector that wasn’t shiny ( most on Amazon are). It was kind of expensive but the glare and fingerprints bothered the heck out of me.

 

Post a link for the screen protector please. I hate being blinded by my screen.

It's an expensive screen protector as most go for between $10-$15 on Amazon, but those say they are matte but aren't and they show fingerprints ( I've tried 3 different ones).
