Anyone know if 265/70’s will fit on an oem 16 inch wheel

 

Sure will. They will even fit your truck without rubbing.

 

Usually that's for a 17 inch wheel. 16s are usually 265 75

 

I had LT265/75R16 BFG A/T's mounted on my steel wheels while waiting 8 months for Level 8 Mk6 wheels.

 

But the tire will fit. From what I believe the wheel width is kinda tight with the lower aspect ratio.

 

I didnt realize you have the same wheels as me. Were they on when the truck the day you were at Jareds?

They'll fit fine, I'm running 255/85s with spacers and they clear no problem so

 

Uh I may be wrong but the higher that 2nd number the skinnier the tire. The lower the first number. The less overall height from bead to tread.

 

Aspect ratio: a 255/85 whatever has a sidewall that is 85% of 255mm.

 

I stand uneducated

 

255 is a skinny tire to begin with and with that high an aspect ratio, the tire looks even skinnier.

 

They don’t look that skinny. I can send some pics when I get home

 

Not that skinny and way better mpg than 285s

I hate tire sizes. Makes no sense. Give me width diameter and rim.
