Yeah it kills performance, charging in extreme heat is hard I've found, same with cold haha. Auto systems take so little it is hard to balance, I like to charge at the nearest to 75* part of the day, easiest to hit the bullseye on low pressure side specs

Better than half assing a bunch of expensive shit.

    Asbestos is less fun though.

Yeah there are buildings I refuse to work in other than the normal work spaces. But we know what we can make work without costing everyone too much money. I am pushing for more networked PA/Bells/Clock systems though, retrofitting is a pain but its easier to retrofit to POE devices than it is to keep hijacking the old two and four wire PA/Clock systems to try and make them work with modern controllers (we sunk money into that and it is a worthless stopgap)

Yeaaaah, those make work solutions are never great. Hard to talk admins into it if they’re not already in on it. We have some customers who bend over backwards to use their 50 year old underground cabling on the wayside, and then we have others who have no qualms about ripping out everything, trenching in new cable and dropping in brand new gear just so it’s the same as every other location. So much easier to deal with the second group, less weird problems.
