Ill do you one even better. Take the kit off and throw it away. Unnecessary. Search around and you’ll find out why.

In my experience the diff drop does help the angles a little. I had one on a spacer lift :anonymous: on my 2007 for 14.5 years with zero issues.... the cv boot ribs were hitting without it. When i finally upgraded with new coilovers i took the drop off but after noticing the ribs riding again ended up putting the drop back on... angles look better with good rib clearances (both lifts were only 2".) The boots are the originals and still look like new. As far as effecting the ground clearance, with the type of offroading i do it isn't an issue. After researching the drops there's a lot of opinions on both sides weather they're needed or not. I think it really comes down to how you use your truck and if your more concerned with ground clearance or the cv angle geometry after lifting. I figure if it's worked with zero problems for the last 15 years it can't be that bad. Anyway...that's my experience for what it's worth.

Edit: Just to add... I don't know if it's related but i've never had vibration issues/needle bearing issues. When upgrading to new coilover's i figured as long as it was torn apart i'd have the ecgs bushing installed.
