That is definitely the case. Although they do sit below the bed rail so they look like they belong if ya know what I mean. That was one of my concerns, I wanted something where they didn’t stick out or up high or fit funny because of the wheel wells if I were to side mount in the bed. This works very well.

The boards with those mounts are solid. When I shake the boards when locked in, the truck moves. They aren’t rattling around at all and I took it wheeling yesterday, not a peep.

 

Could you drill new holes for the manifold and move it closer in?

 

After a weekend of cursing…20 OR has Elka’s and JBA’s up front, and ICON AAL. W/overload spring and Billsteins out back. Thinking I cranked down too far on the coil overs will have to re-evaluate.

How heavy is that bumper guard? Just wondering if it would be ok to run that on my truck with stock suspension? I already have a shell on the back, maybe this would balance everything out.

I think it’s around 40-60lbs, it’s steel, I can carry it with one hand no issue. It’s light enough that my front 6112 suspension hasn’t been affected. The avid off road website might have the actual specs

 

I would have never thought to protect the shifting letters. I don’t see that part being touched often, but to each his own

I have to call HR tomorrow morning though to see why the DRL was constantly on. I followed their install to a T with their harness. My SR5 didn't have DRL and there was no fuse in the DRL spot so I installed their tap in that location, it worked but they stayed on. I took the DRL fuse tap out for the time being.

Went outside again to throw this $60 console safe from Hooke Road in.

 

Sorry, the surround, where the font of the hood meets the top of the grill surround.

 

I tried this, but it wouldn’t fit. Did you have to unscrew the jingle of the center console to get it in?

 

No, I just slightly pushed the lid back and the safe dropped right in.

 

I took the bottom of the center console lid off. Be careful though, they are super tiny screws.
