New plates mod day

 

My new favorite mod. Installed the granddaughter in a couple of locations.

 

Looks sweet. Did you also vinyl wrap the fender flares? Hard to tell from the pic. I’m contemplating doing the sides like you have on yours

 

Installed dash cam and pulled out the dealer installed starter kill that i didn’t pay for.

 

Drove it. It’s been sitting for a month. Bought 4 years ago this month. 7,900 miles.

 

As suspected, the wing nut clean out plug failed when pressureized. Plan B is threaded pipe screw cap.

 

Not a whole lot. This week I finally installed the Truxedo tonneau cover from Amazon. Did it myself in 1/2 hour.
I also got these thick canvas seat covers from Walmart which I really like and fit the Taco perfectly.
Then I got a hitch receiver cover (lol!). $5.00 at Walmart.
On next payday, I’ll order the roof racks

 

It stuck out like crazy with the 10 wires they t tapped and they drilled a button into the bottom of the lower dash. Apparently this dealer has it installed on ALL of their new vehicles.

 

I don't like the brown. Too different from the sand color and doesn't match anything else. I think camo might work if you introduce lighter browns.

 

I’ve heard of WE FINANCE used car dealers doing that. Supposedly they tell the buyer they (dealer) have the ability to disable the vehicles.

I've got to figure out why the DRLs are staying on constantly. I have the fuse tap unplugged while I figure it out. I'll pm ya a pic once that gets sorted.

 

What model # bumper did u purchAse? Did u have to do any trimming

 

It's the CBI covert bumper. Yes, there is a little trimming involved but it's not that bad.

 

Decided I'm going to go 100% on the delete. Fridge soon?

 

i removed it last week and put my black one back on. If i can find black multicam auto wrap that can be purchased in a small roll, i’m gonna wrap it in that
