True...I wasn't at the truck when the cutting happened but I was in the garage for the shit show that followed. Was later in the day and idk if we had the tool in the shop or it was too late to grab one but it was a huge PITA.

 

I wasn't by it either. Don't think we had the tool either

 

I miss those days...now I'm just in my garage alone, cussing to myself. I don't typically drink but I may have to implement a mini beer fridge just days I'm working on the truck.

 

Bought one and found a bonus free battery in the curb at the auto parts store but when we got back we found out the cheap bastards flare nut wrench was just a chopped box wrench so it flexed around the nut whenever pressure was on it.

 

I take multiple beer breaks when I'm wrenching nowadays

 

Nothing tops randy buying one long travel axle and finding out after I chopped one of his lowers

 

And that I also had all his old suspension on my truck already
