Weird request... Anyone have pic of 2nd Gen topper on a 3rd Gen?

Found a 'steal' of a buy on a topper but it's supposedly for a 2nd Gen. From what I read online the bed dimensions are exactly the same except the depth of the 3rd gen is about an inch deeper. That wouldn't affect the fitment of the topper. Surely I am missing something. Anyone with a 3rd Gen have a topper from a 2nd Gen? Post a pic please...

 

There's a thread about you may be able to find, it doesn't look great and required some wacked out 2x4 frame structure to buck it up.

Not worth it IMHO.

OP is happy with it but I sure as hell wouldn't tolerate that "fitment".

Keep looking, don't sweat it, I see them pop up all the time on Craigslist with prices from $250-750 all the time, $500 is a heck of a deal on a topper, fortunately mine cane with my truck color matched.
