The dealership delivered. Literally I think they delivered the parts directly; door to door.

Caitlyn went under the knife today!!

After years (roughly 5-ish) finally got an actual exhaust reroute done! Took the stock exhaust pipe cradle(?) out of the rear skid plate too. Added a resonator and I'm REALLY happy with it all!

Welp, the maint req'd light came on on the dash today. An oil change will be on the schedule to do this week.

Also, the first tire rotation on these wheels and tires. Going to be doing a proper wheel rotation this time.

    It never ends.

I was casting 25 yards of perfection and ran out of line on the spool. The braid was getting worn out pretty good so I spooled up some fresh flourocarbon when I got home.

Nice!! How do you like the fluorocarbon over the braid? I have always used braid myself and never tried anything else. Also what was your reasoning for switching?

Honestly, I have PLENTY of both with some higher lb test of flourocarbon coming. The moss green was getting worn and fraid a bit. Started turning lighter green. I could have cut it off and left it, however, I have done that enough this year that my casts were extending the length of what was left on the reel.

Trying to test both to see what I like/prefer and this new Lew's hasn't seen anything but braid this summer. I have a Bass Pro bait caster cheap combo that I got as my first bait caster set-up with some 8lb test on it as just a fun, mess around with setup and the girlfriend can use and try as she's only used spinning rods. I have some 17lb test coming for the Lew's and I'll take the 12lb test that's on the Lew's now and put it on the Bass Pro combo.

Just trying to shake things up a bit and test some stuff out.

Haven't had much luck on the lake by me that's a short bike ride around the corner. But, it's a nice little escape during the week. Only luck I have has there was a little 2lb smallie on a frog. He skipped my hookset at the bank and swam away. Honestly, I thought I was caught on a log or something at first until he broke the surface.

Convinced that the only fish in that lake are away from the banks off of island points accessible only by kayaks.

Autozone, oreilly's wherever really. Whoever has them in stock at the time and I can go pick em up.

I guess I should mention, its not 'toyota branded' They are the NGK plugs specified in the manual. The manual also says Denso.

I didn't feel like dealing with those people. I want what I want and I want 6. Not 4.5 or 2 returned items that didn't work from someone else.

For the most part, they look at you like you are the idiot when they ask if you have 2wd or 4wd for a wiper blade....

I'm thankful that the one by me basically always has multiple of 6 Densos.

One store even knows enough to just give me the part number I ask for, or tilts the screen to me so I can show them.

Awesome makes sense was just curious. I like the control braid gives and how it has no memory. I’ve been having good luck fishing the berkley choppo. I find myself using it the majority of the time I’m out there, they hit it all day long. Also, I like the lews it’s all I use for saltwater and freshwater. They make some awesome gear.

I have a nice little spot by my place that I hit up after work most days.

    @T.Barn

New setup; was having issues getting the Lew's to cast well consistently on the flourocarbon tonight. I was having to use my thumb as a guide to contain the line and cast decently. Added the 12lb test to the combo rod to mess with.

This late in the year, not many more days left to be trying things out; just wanna stay consistent.

Fished a worm and something decent took a gulp of it just not a big enough of a bite to set the hook.

Awesome, looks good. I have found that higher test allows for smoother casting as well. I use 20lb on my baitcast reels.

I'll have to test with the 17lb flourocarbon. I have 20lb test on the Lew's and that's what I've been running the entire summer and it's been great. I guess if it's not broke...
