Have you ever had issues with loading so much so high? Seems like a heavy brake would be risky but I’ve never used a rack like that.

this was a ONE time ordeal. It’s seriously stupid to have done what I did, loading all to one side especially (forgot to yank the ski racks off the driver side)
Didn’t have a problem going home that day, just took it easy.
The rack itself was more than enough to handle it. I don’t recommend anyone following what I did tho haha

There was a big windstorm in colorado springs a month or two ago. spent a couple days gathering up all the fallen branches at my house and cutting them to manageable sizes that would fit in my bed. here are the first 2 trips to a recycle place a couple miles from my house. i didn't take a picture of the third trip, but it was definitely the biggest and most unsafe (which is why i didnt take the picture lol)

Mulch seems to be common chore for this truck. Lol

Find a landscaping company near by and check out their mulch. It'll cost you a lot less and they'll load it in the back of your truck for free.

Not a fan of that. HD or Lowe's loads in back for me (just tell them how many bags and go pay) and it makes it easier to unload and move around the yard without using a wheelbarrow. Less work for me this way as I don't have to move any bags at the store, and the kids take each bag to offload the truck. Otherwise I'd be scooping it out from the truck bed into a wheelbarrow. I buy it on sale and costs me around $200 for about 3.5 yds of mulch.

Just for the record, I was paying $26.50 plus tax a yard for a black dyed mulch. They would use a front end loader and dump it in the back of my truck. Yeah, I had to shovel it into wheel barrels and move it over to where I needed it. About 7 yards needed, so that was 7 trips the landscaping yard. I am pretty confident they gave me more than a yard with each dump though.
