Long overdue wash w my son. Monsoon season / summer here in AZ has been incredible. Rain almost every 2-4 days & lower temps. And I don’t know who needs to hear this … but your tires look better dirty.

What kind of differences are you noticing with the tune?

 

A lot more low end torque. I can drive around the city comfortably keeping it under 2k rpm, and I don’t drive slow. So the 600-3000 rpm range has been woken up big time. 285/55/20 k02 easily chirping at like .5 throttle. Haven’t tried turning track off and lighting them but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it’d do it.

haven’t driven on highway at all yet and only done one pull from stop. Was doing 80km/h in 2nd at 5 k rpm and wasn’t gonna shift. Until I got used to it I was thinking I’d need to match it with a BBK lol.

it’s a very noticeable difference. When I get on it now, it goes. No fkn around. Hoping to get cam gears done (if I can find someone to help me), putting on super turbo muffler and cowl snorkel here soon. Figure once all that’s done the truck is gonna drive the way it should have from the start.

 

I got my "All Windows Down" button kit. Installed in 10 minutes. However, the CarTrimHome.com website picture also shows a passenger side button (in the kit). I did not get a passenger side button. Did anybody get a passenger button?

 

Not yet. From what I've heard (here), they are on the way, but more delayed than the drivers side....no idea why other than maybe someone in the US has drivers side in stock ready to ship, but not passenger side. If I was selling a "kit", and I was going to set someone up to be a distributor of that kit, I'd send em the whole damn kit....but what do I know

 

I received my drivers side in 4 days and the passenger side shipped a few days after that. Still very quick shipping.

Tire comment is so true. Tire dressing makes the tires look so much smaller. Every now and then I’m like yeah I’ll throw some on then I hate it. On top of that it’s all down the side of the truck too lol

 

‘Supply chain, globalism, aside. it’s a cool piece of kit.

 

And just when I said my build was done after the snorkel installation!

 

Yeah I didn't get my passenger side either in my original post. Its on the way now though. Just a little lag in the supply chain I guess but they were quick to get the passenger out.
