@Camby I would be happy to help you out. Lots of options available. Send me a PM and I can go over with you some of the options available to see what fits your needs. We have a very solid calibration available for the 2.8" setup.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    Opinions wanted.

Just mounted a quick change hub for a 2.6" pulley.
With the few incidences of pulley stud sheering, I want to choose belt length wisely.
I was running a K05705 with a 2.825" pullet and the upgraded tensioner and double bearing pulley. No signs of slippage.
I have a K060696HD on hand, but wondering if I should pick up the K080702HD.
Seems like I should err on the long side and see if it does not slip. If it does, I will step down to the K060696.
    Thoughts?

I ran a Gates K050694 with my 2.6. No cutting required.

if its the gates green belt 69.5" works great with a 2.5. since they do stretch they could be great as well for a 2.6.
i need to switch mine as i believe its stretched with contact to coolant spills. im also running a 2.3 to give you an idea of what CAN work. ill try a smaller belt this week but had a hard time getting the correctly claimed 69" belt on. greenbelt does need a rib cut fwiw. just have a quality utility knife with a few blades ready and a cutting board from the kitchen. take your time, change blades every couple feet and you'll be fine. sharp blades matter. i have yet to fail a belt with careful trimming.

What y’all think it’s worth? I got a local guy that wants it too. I wanna get all the money but wanna be fair. I no what it would cost if you wanted to build your motor your self and go through what I did. But putting a $$ on it is hard.
