Where is all this ethanol free gas in MD?

 

There's an AC&T in Hagerstown off Halfway Blvd I go to. A good bit away from you though...

 

I don’t think there is any ethanol free gas in the Baltimore metro area.

Just remember, they couldn’t have done it without Charles Taylor building the first airplane engine, by hand, when no other company said it could be done to meet weight and hp needs.

 

Anyone planning/want to help with some rust-protection for my truck? Group event? Coupled with a BBQ or wheelin? Suggested products? It's a Virginia truck, but it's in really good shape under, considering, and I need to ensure the salt here doesn't destroy it.

 

We did one last year at @Backdoc place in Forest Hill. Used Woolwax. I think he mentioned doing it again this year. It was a bring your own stuff. If you message Woolwax, they’ll probably give a code or wait till Labor Day and they should have a sale.
I like woolwax more than fluid film. It’s a little thicker and seems to hold up better.

How did it do for mileage on the way down?

 

Hadn’t planned on it, but it’s definitely something worth looking into. Thanks for the heads up on that.

About 16~ ish mpg. Not surprised though. I’ve topped off my tank once with some non ethanol and plan to do it once again on the way back home. Hoping for slightly better mileage on the way back. We should be slightly lighter on the way back, too, with less food that we’ll be carrying. So far round trip I’ve driven 497 miles. So I should be coming home with around or just short of 800 miles in total (I’m thinking)

Nice! I used to go there a lot as a kid with my Mom and Grandma. Very fond memories indeed.

 

It was my first time. Never been to a beach in NC. Very cool.
