I bought new end links. Wanted to see how it will drive with no sway bar and when I do reinstall it, I have new parts.

My obd reader was able to pull all the info from the truck but it showed no codes at all. Are the abs codes going to list different than any other check engine obd codes?

ABS codes don't show on a regular obd2 scan tool. Some more expensive scanners have ABS capable readers.

As my truck has evolved over the years, so did the noise in the cab. I am chipping away at sound deadening my cab. 60% curiosity, 40% boredom.

Just got the truck back from the dealership, they took 1.5 months to replace the frame. They installed new brake lines and control arms (upper and lower). Rides like a dream. I've been using my tundra more and more so trying to decide whether I should start modding it out (lift etc) or if i should sell it. The tundra is more than enough for me, don't really need 2. With family, I need a double cab...But I love this truck!!! It's never given me problems and I just love the simplicity and reliability. With a new frame it seems like it's not going to go anywhere in the next 50 years.....But with high used prices, maybe I'll get a great price? Can't decide... What do you guys think?

I would keep it. I always have 3 vehicles minimum in my fleet in case one goes down.

But I have been thinking the same thing about my 2005 gmc 1500 crew cab that I brought to indiana from texas. I can get stupid money but then I will just go buy a tundra and have a payment so I will just keep the gmc

hard to tell in this market. Here in indiana it wouldnt be worth as much as say a southern state. I know when i got rid of 2019 blazer a month ago there was a 5k difference in value between here virginia and louisiana

Drove it home after the sway bar delete and noticed slightly more body roll.
I'm not one to drive fast (it's a 4 cylinder) so I'll drive it around like this for a bit.
    Should have more flex. :muscleflexing:

I removed mine after doing the 3rd gen OR swap on my 2nd gen which brought me up to 700# springs which felt a little stiff. After removing the sway bar I felt some more body roll but the front was much more independent hitting bumps. After a couple days I couldn't notice the body roll anymore. The best free mod out there!

I’m not sure how “heavier” my replacement front springs are.
    This is what I have:

Gave the truck a wash. Doesn’t happen often but attempted to clean the truck after some black rock desert fun. My neighbors always love it when we come back from trips. I May have lost a fender flare. The engine right now is horrible. I think I brought half the desert back with me by the look of it. :burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubber:

You’re taking this too literal. Heavier relating to load weight. My 2886’s (+200lb load) handle more body roll (weight applied in a radius turn) than stock thus reducing body roll. Does that make sense now? I wrote it slowly so you’d better understand my meaning. :boink::rofl:
