Firearm BS thread

I am thinking of getting a ghetto blaster type pistol for fun.

Something like a Raven, HiPoint, Tec-9 clone lol

 

Tec-9 is the only gun I've ever sold in my entire life....

 

But 800 samolians for a a plastic striker pistol is hard to get past.

 

this is why it's my next purchase. the specs, but also the backstrap is contoured nicely. and the factory compensated design all make it ok for 800. in my mind it's a $750 gun. for that application i don't like aftermarket mods so i can deal with the factory price.

 

Ordered a Kore Essentials belt. Kind of excited to see what the hype is about....or maybe it's just hype because google knows I searched for gun belts....

either way, I'm hoping it improves carrying over my floppy belt.

 

I wear a Hanks extreme belt and I've been really really happy with it! I also have a Tad Nexus and Spec Ops better BDU, which are nice, but the Hanks is really nice.

 

Waiting for the gear queers to start selling off the 365 XL's for cheap so I can get one lol

 

I wear the groove belts, surprisingly good for EDC, they're stiff! (That's what she said)

 

Anyone have experiences with staccato? Id love to try one before buying. Is it worth the premium cost? Looking at the c2. I always wanted a 1911 but cant go wrong with a modern 2011. Maybe im looking to break out of my ordinary carry rotations

 

Best place to check the serial number of a gun you're thinking about buying from an individual?

I hear they have an extensive registry of firearms and their owners.

That's what I'm thinking, but I thought I had used a website 2 or 3 years ago to check one. Was it accurate? Had to be, it's on the internet.

 

Which is BS. It would be nice if individuals could access but at a minimum you would think FFLs would be able to so this kind of crap doesn't happen:
