    not enough.
on some frames, it is also impossible to put a 29er fork on the frame. the clearances aren'tq uite there. not only for axle to crown and crown to head tube but also the top of the fork to teh downtube when you turn. Keep some of that in mind. :) Most 27.5 frames shoudl be able to accept the 29er fork but there are a few exceptions to that rule. Especially on the smaller bikes.

Ok what is active junky? A quick look at their site looks like it's giving cash back for purchases but how and why? What are they making money on if it's a free signup? Selling data, ads?

The company you purchase from pays them. Think of it as head hunting or being a lead man. They create incentive to purchase from them and are rewarded for it.

Jeez, those look mint compared to my pedals. My 'pedal strikes' appear to be much more frequent and severe :anonymous:

Oh, I got that part loud and clear... Mine looked far worse after their maiden voyage. My bike seems to have a relatively low BB height and longer cranks relative to the frame size so I guess I catch my pedals and cranks a lot. For me, it's clearly all a geometry issue and has nothing to do with poor line choice :anonymous:

Not as exciting as NBD, but new tool day is still a happy day. One day closer to getting the rig ridable again…maybe bike refresh day :notsure:

I honestly don’t know what would be a normal press haha. The one in the pic is just an Amazon cheapo headset/BB press I ordered for the poops and giggles. It’s def way too girthy for the I9 drifts, but the headset ones that came with it are where I think the value lies.

I’ve got a redneck garage press set up that will work for the F/R hubs, but is still too big for the freehub drifts. I’ll either install utilizing the ole rubber mallet tap with caution, or I’ll order this one.

How did you choose the press? I wasn't sure between that or the ones that have more steps in the adapters like

No real science. The one you show above looks like a better option.

Just a question. How often and long does everyone ride? I’m 2-3 times a week about an 1 1/2 hours each ride.

right now the park beside me wants everyone out at 8 so 1.5 to 2 hours depending on when I can start on Tuesdays and Thursdays and maybe one weekend ride of 3 hours if I’m lucky.

When the time changes they’ll allow us to stay out there to 9 on tuesdays and thursdays. Not sure what time change has to do with it, but I’ll take it. Basically whole ride is in dark at that point.

Also these Shimano ME7 are the bomb diggidy, super stiff, yet good enough for hike a bike and no foot tingles.

I try to get on the trainer 2-3 times during the week, then a ride in the woods once or both days on the weekend if I’m lucky. Trainer rides are 30-45 minutes, woods rides are 1.5 - 2 hours.
