Every time you say this it blows my mind. You really need to go ahead and pick you one up. Also, go ahead and apply for permit. Take you several weeks for it to come in.

isnt bama a constitutional carry state?
    edit: wizard above
edit2: if you are convinced youre not going to "go crazy" with it. Get a Glock 43X, maybe with the shield arm mags. and have a 1 good do it all gun that conceals really well but isnt as bad to handle as a other sub compacts.

If you can be honest with yourself and know you're going to have a problem, start with a glock 19 and then buy everything else later.

I get that, but he can go ahead and get the gun and carry it. The permit is only for concealing or carrying it loaded in a vehicle. He can walk around open carrying all day :D

We finally got around our shitty Sheriffs not wanting Constitutional Carry b/c it was "dangerous" to officers......complete and udder bullshit. They didn't want to lose out on the millions in permit money that they could spend anyway they wanted. When in reality, most people will continue to buy permits for other states(me included).

That’s goes to show that even law enforcement are ignorant when it comes to some state and federal 2A laws.

I'm a bit torn on stuff like that. I have no problem with carrying, but then there's a part of me that thinks he's doing this shit just to make a quick buck. I personally have never had the "want" to strap any of my AR's over my shoulder and walk around.

FL has some pretty stoopid gun laws considering they're pretty conservative. The only law that should be in effect is....Aer you a felon? If not, carry on.

He says its to bring awareness to the laws and that the law enforcement doesn't even know them.

It’s mostly the sheeple. Yeah, it’s legal for you to open carry an AR, but it doesn’t mean that it’s a good idea to do so. I open carry sometimes, but if I have to go around people, I’ll pull my shirt down over it.

Its really no different then if a police officer was walking around with his AR strapped to his chest. Whats to say hes just a dude in disguise. Until he raises the gun like hes going to fire it in public there's really no harm. If i was those cops i would have just watched him for a while and waited.

If that's truly the case, then I'd like to see him donate his winnings to something useful.
I carry both ways, just depends on how I'm feeling at the moment :D.....but it's always just pistol(s). Having an AR strapped to me is just too cumbersome for me to want to carry around.
