That is rare. Really surprised at that. NAPA is the best provider of starters and alternators. I did get one bad NAPA starter but we caught it while testing at NAPA before I installed it. I expect that from Advance or Autozone. Personally I prefer new over rebuilt however they are pricey. At least the alternator isn't too hard to install. Depending on miles you should never have any pulley or tensioner problems for years to come.

    Holy shit!

    Look what showed up today!

Was not expecting it. It's the passenger side auto down window switch.

    Sweet!

    Putting it on right now!

Glad to know it’s rare! Thankfully it had the lifetime warranty. I got pretty quick at removal and reinstall the second time around

I installed the front extended/steel braided brake lines. They were sitting in my parts pile for way too long.

If that 2nd one goes out I would demand a new one to replace it FREE based on the labor you have invested in their poor product. I am sure it won't go out but, if it does, they owe you for all your trouble. I don't think the cheaper made Advance or Autozone would fail so quickly.
As is usually the case, if it is a "limited" lifetime warranty, they only provide a free replacement one time. This I know from 50 years of dealing with part stores. It is always a "hey we are really sorry friend and here is a replacement" the 1st time. The 2nd time is "sorry you already used your free limited lifetime replacement" and then the evil consumer rage appears.

Picked up my truck from Milogen Fabrication. CMC, pinch welds, and a cross-member for my BAMF shackle hangers.

Got my lights, 7 inches. Too small. Looks dumb. Back to the drawing board. 8 inchers are hard to find.

Yes, had it made locally months ago for stupid cheap. Was never in love with it so I changed a few things.
