first time I've ever heard of this. not sure I understand it.. even if they had toyota stuff, the 2 year warranty sure isn't confidence inspiring.

 

to be fair, a 2 year warranty on Jeep parts is like a lifetime warranty for them

 

That's a lame axle and they're known for eating balljoints, it's one reason people tend to prefer kingpin versions of solid axles

It's just the whole moving shit over to tack and square up or weld. I'm going under and between crossmembers to burn them in.

Fortunately, I just use a forklift to move it when I need to pick up the whole thing.

Should be getting a TIG welder with water cooler at my station soon. Every job's welding method is welder's choice, and you're left alone to get it done at your own pace. Everything just has to look good, but I can take all day doing something simple if I want.

So yeah if I want to TIG, I can. If I want to MIG for the same job, I can do that too.

I switched the cruiser over to R12a... HC refrigerants are easy to mess with haha

 

I wish I could get some rear trailing arm mount skids like these made up for sliding over rocks.
