I heard them on the camera this morning saying "I don't know why they called Michael (foreman), I was gonna fix them." That shit should have never been nailed up. If you cut a piece too short, cut a new one. I hate having to hire people to work on my stuff for this reason right here. Take some pride in what you do!!!

Edit: I'll never hire this company again.

Got my replacement valves in today. Found this in the instructions:

    E6CA16D4-C70B-40F8-A0D1-FAF0371A71EF.jpg

I might put a wrench on the cold side of the installed valves since that’s way easier to replace than the hot. If I can get it to turn I won’t need to replace them.

Although, I can just pull the cold side and inspect it to see if the dissimilar metals have it all gummed up with rust. I might just do that. I need to replace those galvanized nipples anyway.

The rest of the foundation is poured!

Things went off with only minor hiccups. We had a mix-on-site truck do the pour. He started waaaaay too wet and there was no way we were going to be able to do the footing and stem wall with the same slump, so we changed to a lower slump and I just hauled bucket after bucket after bucket to the form at the front of the building while we waited for the first footing to set up a bit. That way we didn’t have to get the truck back and forth between the two x2. My gravel driveway is super narrow and he barely shoehorned into the first spot to begin with. Ended up doing the entire front with buckets from 50 ft away lol. At least it’s still a step up from mixing bags I guess. Ended up being 1.25 yards. Now we wait, frame, and then start grading!

Just been doing a lot of digging this week. Why wait for your machine to be fixed when you can do it by hand? Ha

Didn't get any pictures today, was trying to beat the rain on some other projects but I did notice some things are starting to yellow and wither but some seems completely unfazed.

It looks to be a multizone one. I'm about $300 away from buying another one for one of my rentals to condition the basement storage space. Keeping the 560sqft upstairs conditioned is only costing me $80/month and that's with 90degrees plus here!
