SOLD:…Selling this 1st gen supercharger $2300 obo. Comes with rotors and refurbished manifold. Rotors are recoated and manifold is stripped and cleaned. Both purchased from Jon Bond. The bypass actuator piece broke during shipment so that would have to be fixed or bought from superchargers online for a new one. I don’t have time for it right now and this is my spare s/c. Mileage is unknown. Any questions feel free to ask

So it probably needs a full rebuild and a new bypass actuator housing?
Are you 100 percent the bypass housing is even available to purchase Anymore?

The bypass actuators are available, the 1st gen actuator is different then 2nd gen I believe, but it’s the housing that’s needed.
Case parts for the 1st gen have dried up, I needed a new snout a few years ago and was lucky to find a used one.
I’m looking for a spare snout now and can’t find one,
Rotors are available used because they are used in other model Eaton superchargers.

I would gladly buy the snout if OP was to sell it separately

Yeah I already spoke to superchargers online and I almost went through with a full rebuild. They sell the bypass housing.

I would sell the snout separate if it was easy to sell the rest.

If I remember correctly he said 200 for the bypass and I paid 800 bucks for them to rebuild my other one. This is from a company that was recommended by magnuson for our sc’s. They did a good job. 844D6543-74A5-4912-B80C-E7F3E917CDD6.jpg

That damage looks easy to repair for a decent welder. That would make this a steal

It’s a bargain as long as their are no unseen other problems,
If it’s running on the truck you have a better idea what your dealing with,.
These 1st gens superchargers are 20-25 years old,
Here are the parts that were replaced on my supercharger by Jon Bond, they are very detailed in their work.
It’s always a gamble buying used regardless not knowing how many miles are on the unit.
And the supercharger needs to be rebuilt every 100,000 miles or so

Superchargers online. All the extra parts were purchased through Jon Bond.

I was nervous when I bought my first one used but they are simple in design. Even if it had a hole in the case, I would just buy another case. Everything so far has been available (parts wise) besides the nose cone. Superchargers online had a spare OE pulley sitting around that they threw in for me.

I honestly wish I could keep this one, I like the fact that the serial number is still on the nose cone.

Personally I like the 1st gen better but these are old now with lots of miles + wear and even tho they are simply they are expensive to repair as my rebuild was 2200.00
If yours was cheaper I would buy it as a back up to be honest for parts.

You don’t show that you have any of the mounting brackets, tensioner, manifold bolts tensioner brackets, throttle cable brackets etc parts either which is at least another 300.00.
    No mounting hardware?

Yeah that’s why I snagged it. I prefer the 1st gens. With the rotors and manifold from Jon Bond I’m definitely losing a lot out of pocket. Definitely fighting the urge to just collect it for the future. 2200!? Why so much? I’m assuming you had your rotors recoated?
