    Hmm, since the AFE catback system is a 3-piece (see instructions), I wonder if you can buy the muffler (05-91010) on its own and save some money? No point in paying for piping. Cut the stock muffler off, clamp on the new one...

    well, u just asked if anyone has tried it or has it... and i have it on my truck currently... it is pretty good. sounds pretty terrible now because it has an exhaust leak... in 3 different places.. but its from not tightening it enough.. i went with it because i plan on going F/I in the future so the engine will need to breathe a little better..

    i know what F/I means.. no, i am not forced inducted. it sounded/sounds good when idling, but when i step on it, it gets raspy because of the leaks.
