SOLD 2022 Head Unit Non JBL-removed with 3K miles Apple Carplay XM Entune 3.0

Hey folks,

For sale is a factory non JBL head unit from my 2022 with 3k miles. This was professionally removed by a top audio shop in LA to be replaced by an aftermarket unit. I will take $850 shipped for it. I think that is reasonable given some on eBay have sold for more and a couple sold for less in worse shape. Yes you can buy aftermarket (I did!) but if you want it factory this is the ticket.

I didn't light it up before removed but I guarantee it not DOA. If you are really concerned I can PM you my VIN before payment.

 

This can’t be swapped into a previous year without CarPlay correct?

 

I haven't researched it thoroughly but I know you need an adapter harness. Not sure where to get it. Some folks are selling them on eBay for $1200 with the harness.

 

According to this listing it’s plug n play. Maybe hit him up or one of the other two members he has sold these head units to?

 

It's been done, but need to buy a rather expensive harness.

Also, for @dutchcontractor do you know approximately how much the hardness is?

 

I did this swap. This caught my eye as the stereo looks exactly like the one I got from another model Toyota but with a bigger screen. It has a CD player though, which is what I wanted.

Harness is HERE. Looks like the one in this listing doesn't have GPS so make sure you order the right harness and get the USB harness too.
