Uhh..umm. So I think I wheeled too aggressively one of the last times I was out. Just seeing this now

Is this going to be an issue when it comes to swapping in the new lowers?

Those bend surprisingly easy, you can just bend it back with a crescent wrench. If your replacing the OEM arms plan on cutting off the alignment hardware. From the factory they dont use antisieze.

One thing I noticed under the truck was the right side lower shock bracket. Seems like a hook waiting to catch something along the trail. I’m not liking that.

LOL. Toyota tried to total my truck because of that.

Well. I don’t know if I posted in here about it, my switch panel had some shenanigans. I tapped a fuse in the engine bay - got hyperflash. Tapped another one (using an add a fuse thing, not actually splicing wires), and when I used the brakes, the left turn signal would stay on (not blinking).

I have a TON of crap on there - LEDs, HIDs, MESO Tail lights, etc etc so - chasing what was the “cause” was NOT in my library of things to do, just decided to run a wire into the cab and use that fuse panel instead.

Didn’t have my fuse panel diagram so I pulled a 10A and thought “That’ll do!”

    …That won’t do

Fortunately this is an easy fix. But I was giggling to myself my entire way into work this morning.

my seatbelt warning light wasn’t going though, so I guess I fixed that somehow! :D

Edit: After a quick goog, I might have a 20A sunroof fuse that is switched power since I don't have one of them. Nice. I BELIEVE (I'll have to double check) I MAY have tapped... A/BAG o_O soooooo

    Trust me, I'm an engineer.

 no I am well aware of my stupidity. I just did an add a fuse off the airbag circuit. It's a 30 second fix, tap it into the sunroof circuit since I don't have one. I'll probably try that during lunch today.

Added air to all 4 corners.... everything worked nice on the ground. Then when I installed in the cubby I got sparks at the top left missing bolt. Bolt= sparks , no Bolt no spark.

Either something in the compressor arcing and making it hot or something in my molle panel is arced and hot. Dig more into it tonight

I think itll go back on for trips we bring the kayaks. 150 lbs on the roof that acts like a sail in crosswinds may be sketchy without it.

I could. I have this crazy idea I can get an aftermarket 3rd brake light w/cargo lights
And plug an play right into my dash with an added oem cargo light (which I need). min other words my wiring is already there even thou I have no cargo light yet.

Speaking of air, does anyone happen to have a broken/shitty pancake compressor? I want to put a pancake tank in my spare carrier and put the compressor inside the bedside.
