I am going to be ordering rear dumb breaks to replace mine soon. What is the best wheel cylinders to get? I am just going to replace everything back there since I think they are OG rears and I don't plan on taking them off again for a long time. There are plenty of options on Amazon but I don't know which is best or should I go Rockauto or OEM?

Got this oil catch can for free and installed it a while back. My guess is this is after about 500 miles. Now that I know there's a measurable amount of oil I get, I'll monitor the miles I do better and measure the volume of oil I catch to determine some rate. More for my info.

I don't feel any performance gain and I never did expect anything beyond catching oil. I understand that this is mainly for FI applications, but I do find it interesting how much oil I've caught.

At about 5000 miles mine is always half full or more.

From my experience you may want to check it more in the colder months than in the warmer ones.

Step 1 complete with excessive testing afterwards.

Well, no matter how slow I moved it was not a 2 beer job. Even with excessive testing and vacuuming out the dog hair that was somehow underneath the window controls.
Now time to celebrate with the second beer.

Thanks for the tip. Temperatures don't fluctuate too much here in Hawaii, but I'll be checking and dumping it fairly frequently anyway.

Anyone ever stuff 33x10.5 on stock suspension? I've got 255x75 and there's not that much difference according to the calculator.

Care to explain where you connected the hose? Is it on the drivers side? One hose goes to valve cover by the firewall and the other above that on the intake manifold?

There is a hose that goes from behind the intake manifold for Positive Crank Case Ventilation and then reconnects into the side of the intake. You just need to take the hose off and put longer ones into their place. Its an easy job just need to make sure they are clamped down so there is no vacuum leak.

Thank you. I’m planning to do it sometime soon. Truck got 82k miles and I’m planning on driving it for a while. Might as well take some extra precautions.

Well worth it! Just to keep that shit out of the intake. I am about to roll over to 180k and I get quite a lot of oil in there between oil changes. This was my last oil change at 5k. At least half a qt of oil that would be sitting in your intake manifold. Also I kept getting the yellow foam in my oil filler neck since I have a short commute. I have not seen any of that crap since I put one in. Keeps water out of the oil much better.

I know @Northbound_Taco already replied to you (thank you!). Try also checking out @boogie3478 's video on his install (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B96rpoS2gn0) and go to 4:14. That will show you where the connections are and what you'll be replacing. It's all on the driver's side. Hose removal and install was easy. The harder part is just trying to find out where to mount the catch can.

Forgot to order a new battery hold down when I ordered the CV boots so I called back and order the hold down and related parts.
Mine is super rusty and the nut is seized. I can throw the hold down on tomorrow but I'm not sure when I'll be able to do the boots.

Haha. Missed the Big Island in your profile. Guess that does make my advise a bit of a mute point.
