Did I mention I'm passing time at work?

This weekend I'm mowing the lawn. I feel a slight stinging near my ankle and look down. By this time there's many more stinging sensations and I realize I'm in deep doo doo. There are numerous yellow jackets buzzing around. I just let go of the mower and run. I make it about ten feet away to the patio and sit. At this point I wonder if my neighbors are looking out the window as I'm loudly cussing up a storm. But wait, we're not done. One industrious little fucker decides to be a hero and sting me on the back of my shoulder (I have no clue how he made it into my t-shirt). More cussing. More running.

Onto today. My ankle is horribly swollen and painful to walk on. No worries, though. I got my revenge. It seems that (chlorinated) brake cleaner works quite well at killing things. I don't think grass (or anything else) will ever grow there again, but let's focus on the important stuff. I got you fuckers!

Don't sweat it, I'm the same when it comes to remembering stuff. I could post a pic of the section of rib they took out on Monday but it's not for the faint of heart! Good news is the surgery went well and I should be able to fully recover and resume normal (i.e. dangerous and idiotic) activities. Someone has to help these doctors pay off their medical school loans.

Lol, I'll send it to you if you want. I just know it would gross at least a few people out in a general thread like this.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
We're climbing out of this, slow but sure. Gwen had a fever for about 24 hours, now we're both congested, occasionally coughing, and slowly getting some strength back. Thx for checking in.

Thanks buddy, We've turned the corner on it. Gwen has more energy this morning and feels better. We're both fighting the sinus congestion and related cough. Neither of have an appetite, but we're forcing in some small meals because we need to.

I love the creativity of the vet clinic. Back in DEtroit there was a small two swuite medical office near where I used to live. It was shared by a proctologist and an eye doctor. The sign had the name of the proctologist's practice on, so there was no mistake what he did. The message area on it had "Free Eye Exam" for about six months. It even made the local paper.
