I’d honestly ditch that analog nonsense AFR gauge and go digital

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's a really minor amount, yes cleaning up your AFR will reveal a little power but 1° of timing will make a bigger difference than 2 points of AFR. There are plenty of great reasons to clean up an AFR target map, peak power isn't really in the top 5.

No, I didn’t calibrate the sensor. How is that done?

Are you saying the needle should be steady at idle? Because it’s not.

The needle dances a lot at steady cruising like shown in the last (2) videos. Is this not to be expected?

I can’t tell from the videos what brand you’re using.
But from my experiences in the past (AEM, and Innovate) - to calibrate it:
Sensor plugged into harness and not installed into the bung (leave in open atmosphere). At this point I forget for how long, but you turn the key to ACC for a certain timeframe
    Then install into bung.

I do remember innovate (my most recent gauge), once every 6 months calibration or something like that, was needed for daily driver. But if you race (which is what I did), calibrate every weekend event

How do you like that dash surround? Thinking about getting one but heard it doesn't match the stock plastic that well.

i like it. My eyes didn’t have to wander too far to check AFR. Just have to try find a quality brand and should be good

I used to have the a pillar mount on a previous car. Didn’t like that setup as much
