Thats about what I spent in parts/tools to do mine......
just looking for a place to dump it....

Some of these older simple densos can last a long time....
think scotty has original in 93 celica still working fine......just recharges it....

    145 is not too bad.....if they're good.....
at auto store the 134 has shot up.....costs u $25 for couple cans alone.....

Have little experience with home hvac's, just enough to be dangerous.....

I'm thinking about waiting till spring to do mine tho....scored all my stuff to do it, even a backup can, just in case.....

I have a hard time trusting people to do right thing......reason I do my own stuff.....
the level of incompetency and indifference is incredible these days....

wonder what they mean by refill, ........top off......or spend the hour to complete evac ...and then refill with exactly 21.6 oz/ wt......+/- 1......which is only safe way not to accidently over load your compressor.......and then they tell u...Oh, the compressor must of been bad .......too bad......that'll be another $300 please.....over their screwup....

......and Oh, we couldnt find u another denso one, so we got u a densx.......

Most find these trucks easy to work on.......between these and 4 runners....
there's a ton of videos to do most anything on em......it can become addictive...
toyota lines cross share a ton of parts....so most parts store stock most everything for em....

Reason everyone was wanting to buy yours.......some mess up people here........on the verge of divorce.....

4,500 is a steal. I’ve been looking for a little 5-lug as a parts runner / weekend project vehicle. That nice low bed!

Unfortunately, I have 5 other 1st gens (only 1 Tacoma), a rock buggy, a rzr and a dually.

But if I saw that for sale for 4,500 I’d be heading straight to the bank to grab some money.

$hit, if you don’t buy it, I’ll head down there this weekend and pick it up. I won’t flip it cause I’ve wanted one for awhile now.

Yea i'll let you know. I'm going to a mechanic with my friend on Saturday to get the AC and everything else looked at.. if it costs too much to repair the AC i'll pass on it.

Can I PM you? I’ve been looking for an ARE shell for about four months. I start school on Monday, may be easier to just blast down tomorrow if you are free.

I can do between 700-800 depending on the state of the shell and how far it is. I am located in ventura county. I can probably come sometime during the week and also next weekend as well.

Nice buy for sure! I just replaced the entire A/C system on my 4Runner, think I did it for right around $500-600.

Granted I was able to do the work myself, it's honestly not that bad.

Someone will take it for sure. I'd post it on craigslist for $500 and see who bites - it's in rough shape.
