Hitting 10psi meant you were "double digits" and that really counted for something from my redneck part of the woods

Tried helping my buddy buy an 03-04 Tundra/Sequoia A340F with the upgraded internals for his 2002 Sequoia. My friend was against ordering online so I searched local yards within 100 miles and found a gold 04 V8 4WD with 160K.

That yard is awful to deal with. They keep insisting the transmission is for a V6 even after I confirm they’re talking about the gold V8 Tundra on their website and car-part.com listing. I called with a VIN from the pictures to make sure we were talking about the same truck and they agreed we were… but still argued with me.

Looks like we just can’t have this transmission and they’ve saved it for a friend. I hate salvage yards with a passion.

That sounds annoying as fuck. Salvage yards can definitely be a PITA to deal with, they don't seem to give a single fuck

I wonder if they were being so hard headed about it because they already knew you were right and they had saved that for a buddy but didnt' want to admit it.

Looks like I'm headed to the pick n pull this weekend - girlfriends neighbors car got broken into because there's some stupid tiktok video about how you can steal certain Kias with a USB cable. Well, hers isn't the right kind of kia, but they tried anyway and tore the shit out of the steering column. People suck so much.

Yeah this seems the most likely. They’re just acting so stupid something doesn’t feel right. Massive V8 logo on the 2UZ engine cover and all.
Yup. Just a really annoying experience 75% of the time.
