I bought this one in May: https://www.southernstyleoffroad.com/product/2016-tacoma-slimline-tube-bumper/

I should have it sometime in the fall. Can meet you at one of those Coffee and Rig meets up on the Tacoma Facebook group on Saturday so you can see it in person if you want.

I would really like to see how it does after a winter or 2 up here. I went aluminum for my rear bumper due to rust, wanted to do the same with the front.

Yeah, I couldn't find a slim aluminum one that I liked. I have a co-worker who has a steel front bumper on his Raptor and has had it for 4ish winters. Has held up extremely well and he isn't very good on the upkeep of his truck where as I woolwax spring/fall and pretty much do weekly car washes in the winter to get the salt off.

Im the same way with my truck. I refuse to park a dirty truck in my driveway in the winter. If there is salt on it, I stop at the car wash on my way home.

Rough county makes one similar to the slim line one

Victory4x4 makes a great metal bumper that's as close to "OEM+" as we're gunna get, imho. Without the bull bar hoops it's pretty stealthy

I like the victory because you dont really have to cut the bumper much, everything you do cut is covered by the factory front cover part.

I’m looking forward to seeing the finished project. It’s going to be sweet.

Hey since we're on the topic, anyone know of a good source for replacement front fenders? Or more likely is anyone selling their fronts? I don't think I trust trying to color match a black OEM replacement

Hey all! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've probably read through this inferno thread all the way through at least 5 times by now.

I'm currently looking for inferno color matched d-ring shackles and wanted to see if anyone else has come across a good option that is close to the 4x0 color code without having to paint them yourself. I have a bunch of Rust-Oleum Satin Paprika spray paint that I am going to use a backup unless someone knows of a good color matched option. Anyone know of anything?

I just found some orange ones on Amazon but nothing the same color as our Inferno's. I do need to repaint them because the paint on them faded pretty quick.

Yeah I have a basic orange pair from Amazon now was just hoping someone would've found a closer match by now. Likely gonna just need to paint them.

Satin Paprika is going to be the most color-matched option in my opinion. Since you already have an orange set, I'd just hit it with the Rustoleum; having that orange original coat should help out when the rustoleum starts chipping away, and shouldn't make the repaint super obvious.

If you want the exact match, this is what I used on a couple of smaller projects. You can also get clear coat from them. https://theautopaintdepot.com/autom...for-toyota-color-code-4x0-inferno-all-models/
