My dad had 2 old wooden ladders when I was a kid, I'm pretty sure they came off a fire truck. One was so big it took 2 grown men to move it, or dad and my brother and I. It had 2 or 3 fly sections...and was rickidty

I hate when that happens, you start reading and realize it's not what, or where you think it is o_O

I was looking behind my seats with the gun rack idea and decided to just cut it all out and put my gun in a soft sided case, I think that’s the simplest thing to do. Now to patch the missing part.

If you pull those plastic pieces out some there is a few sheet metal braces behind the plastic you could put a screw into, it's pretty thin though. I was going to make some pieces to bolt with those existing bolts and get longer bolts.

There's 3 screws on the passenger size, 2 on drivers. After you take the screws pull the passenger side 1st. I broke all the red holders on the bottom and chunked them :anonymous:

I did remove my headrest and fold the seats all the way down.

Maybe @Cwopinger has a better way, he's had his out a couple times.

Dealership hasn't called so parts must not be in yet.

Wife’s birthday is tomorrow, went and got her a new hummingbird feeder and made a bracket to hang it. I ask her last week what she wanted, she said nothing.

I did MasterCAM 5 years ago, so I couldn't tell you off the top of my head without having it in front of me. I always imported a 3d model from Solidworks into MasterCAM and programmed off of that.

Same.. That's how we do it here. Customer supplied Models and then Program from that.. or internal models from our office guys.. but this model is garbage. Trying to re-create the Surface's in Mastercam to get a clean toolpath.. I've done it hundreds of times before.. not my first rodeo.. its just this particular part/feature is giving me some trouble. Complex/Compound radii and surfaces. Like I said.. first Mold part I've done. I'm getting through it. Cleaned up the model/surfaces some.. got some toolpaths down at least.. Just not as clean/intuitive as I had hoped.

Here’s a curvy, black Ford I saw today to go with your black Chevy. Yours was in better shape.

I don’t have a secret to pulling the plastic pieces out, I’ve broke off most of the red tab things every time I did it. I do have those red parts saved on my Amazon list if you need the link. Lol

I don’t have any guesses for how the access cab is set up. I would imagine it has a similar design so there should be a couple of place to screw or through bolt into.

I like what you did Shane. It would have been a much better storage space from the factory if it was like that.

I’m still running around with mine off while I try to fabricate flat wall solution that will work for what I need. It gets really loud back there from the pressure vents with the plastic pulled out.
