I'm glad to see the notion that you're defined by how enslaved you are to your job is finally starting to change. Well, hopefully anyway. Them roots run deep in our culture

 

i love how 'quiet quitting' == not going above and beyond.

So not quitting at all, just saying no to all the extra shit.

Can only imagine what it would be like to have a job so well defined

aimed at shocking people into paying attention, I mean it got me to read into it and I was thinking it was gonna be about something else entirely.

 

Do people still fold laundry? I just pull from the pile and hang it up or put it in whatever drawer. Folding laundry always seemed like unnecessary extra effort

 

I find when it's folded and put away it's way easier to find in the morning when I'm still half asleep and it's dark. I'd rather spend the time putting it away then looking for it later.

 

1) Remove from dryer
2) Wear
3) Drop in washer
4) Wash, rinse, repeat


Same reason I want 2 dishwashers.

I should have clarified that my 'Wear' step is 2-3 weeks

 

I knew a guy once that would wear clothes a couple times then donate them and buy more, he never washed anything. Was an older dude at the school I went to, I think he was probably divorced and just had no clue how to do laundry.

 

Must've got em cheap at the thrift store

 

Probably, always figured he had to be well off either way to afford to do that

 

Buys cheap clothes, wears them, returns them to same store, buys clothes he returned last week

 

That's an interesting way to pay someone else to do your laundry

I have not, but I know Target has a super easy return policy so I wouldn't be surprised if it's been horribly exploited on Tik Tok now lol. Bastards ruining it for the rest of us
