Price seems fair with the gas. I'd want to know testing status of the bottle too. If you have to pay hydro on top of asking, it's way too high.

    Different machines.

I guess a better question is what do you want to do with it?

Been looking at these welders for a bit. looking for a multi process unit that is 110/220 optional. Exact same parts and pieces that all the familiar name brand welders use. 5 year warranty protection, ect. Income tax will kick back a nice chunk,,so maybe.

I'm not in the field but to me, the top looks good but the back looks like it might be cold in a few spots. Again, I'm no expert.

    Jason--your cart looks cool!

I think the rental tanks have 'Rental' cast into the top of the bottles, and sometimes even the name of the store its from if its an independent store. If its an owner tank, it wont have any of that.

Is that a decent welder for the price? Im not going to be welding super thick material, just light fabrication like a bumper for my truck and projects for friends.

Looks like they go for around $500-600 new + tank and cart so I think its fair.

i think i might go check it out tomorrow, it cant hurt. I would love to have a miller 211, i just cant afford it. It has a 20% duty cycle. So is that for every hour i can weld 15 mins?

12minutes. But on a lot of little projects it'll be run a few welds(like 5 minutes of trigger time) then fit some more pieces(allowing machine to cool), then weld some more, etc so for a beginner/hobbyist that probably isnt a deal breaker.
