yup, I know the 450 has the reversed induction with the exhaust out the rear, I just had a momentary laps in brain function there. That is one bad ass machine though. I would love to ride one but it is not in my future being more of a tight woods rider where that much power would more than likey impail me onto a tree:D

I saw these and looked at one for a D60 and I can see where it might be beneficial. They did not have one for my D90 so I did not get to put one on to feel it on the camera while shooting. the guy at the store said they are not a great seller and they were trying to get ride of the stock they had.

I'm sure that thing will be a beast climbing slopes. What is the official name of the event?

I'm sure this should be in the motorcycle section, but WTH

My 3 passions, besides my wife. Motorcycling on or off road. photography and camping of all type from primitive back county backpacking to RV'ing. Sometimes I can combine all three for a great weekend.:)

The organization is called weberacing http://weberacing.com/ and its a harescramble series based out of Durango CO. The races are really a lot of fun and only ~$60 to enter!

Here's a pic of me in angel fire 2 years ago on my old KX125.

They look pretty good. Maybe try a little bit faster shutter. They're also a bit under exposed.

I like the original better than selective color.

Thanks yeah ill try a faster shutter. So maybe bring down the f/stop or up the ISO? I think it was on 200.

it makes it bigger and bulky.

and if you have a camera thats magnesium alloy, and is weather sealed then i really dont see a point in it....

    I like them both.

was it really dark or something? with that long of a shutter it must have been pretty bad lighting. In those conditions bump the iso to 400 or so, or bump the exposure in post processing.

I think I may have had my aperture set to high. I think IIRC that I had it on 20 or so. Thats probably it, and it was getting dark outside.

Try using shutter priority at 30th or 40th/sec and let the camera figure out the f/stop if they are still under/over exposed increase or decrease the exposure compensation a bit. You may also try getting closer to your subject.

    Have fun:)
