also i finally found a front fender for my bike that i like so the silly little supermotor fender will be going away...

yup but also why i will be sticking with ats from now on haha plus i dont wheel anymore really lol

i have a loud exhaust on my bike so it grabs attention the tires do as well thou when people think a jeep is coming but its just this little green dirtbike lol

 

so after doing some research and also talking to the local shop out here that has been dealing with bikes and dirtbikes since the mid 60s... a drz400 is not meant to have its valves lapped in place.... they are either suppose to slap right in or have the valves cut to fit the seat of the old head so thats interesting. ill have to take apart the head and put the new valves in and see how they seal they said if they seal fine then i dont have to worry but if they dont then ill have to bring it up and get the head worked on which thankfully is cheap its only 30 bucks!

 

Since you may have to have the head worked on..........go ahead and big bore it

 

lmao you got that 800 bucks for it? nah im just gonna spend the 30 bucks to have the new valves put in correctly then bolt it all back up

more power would be great but this bike has been good with oem stuff for years so might as well leave it like that for now
