With an asking price of $1500, looks like new. Good price?

I'd have to get it painted though. I'm thinking the price is pretty high. $900 or so seems more reasonable.
    Thoughts?

sounds a little high, especially if you need to get it painted. I recently sold my ARE CX for $725 to a local member.

I paid 1600 for mine brand new installed on my truck with quite a few options. Not sure what model you are looking at but they start at around 1000 new.

Keep on looking in my opinion, within the last two months I bought two one a snugtop supersport and the other a snugtop xtra vision for $400 & $320. Both needed some body work and a paint job but I only paid $350 & $400 for that.

Are they nutty crazy espensive up in canada? That'll get me 2 or 3 new ones here.

Again, canada is a different market. But if you're paying more than a few hundred used in the color you want, you're not doing it right.

Looking at a lot of other people's posts.. apparently there's a lot of room for dealers to be assholes. There's no MSRP I've ever seen but I bet cost is something like 4-500 bucks. Maybe 800 if they're just scraping by where I buy mine.

just a side note you'd be paying way more than $850 because of the cost to paint match it. Canadianboy, your taco is nice BTW.

Yeah, I was looking at the 100XL too, super nice canopy. That is a better price then I was quoted. Over $3k here in Canada, but I got a price around $2k from a dealer in WA state/

    Topper sorry :p

Thanx man, can't wait to get a canopy and clean up the truck once the weather gets better.
