    IMO you should make the correction at the shock because you are compensating for a “weight” lean. You can use a spacer for sure. But that’s probably a better option for correcting a geometry issue. You have more weight on the left technically calling for slightly more preload to achieve the same ride height. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it lol.

    I appreciate the reply and the logic, makes sense! I’ll stay subbed to see if anyone else has some thoughts about it.

    EDIT: From Shock Surplus - “[preload the shock instead of using spacers] We prefer this method because the lean exists from uneven weight distribution in the truck from the factory. Adding more preload to the driverside helps jack load to the other side, thus correcting some of the natural imbalance. This also makes it so both front struts are at similar points in their respective travel. Adding a spacer can sometimes be unavoidable, but we find it best to at least try to correct most of the lean with preload for the best performance.”

    EDIT: I called Eibach to get some reassurance on a few things and they echoed a few things you guys have been saying.
    1. It’s better to compensate for taco lean with the shock rather than a spacer. You won’t notice the difference in preload.
    2. The “Eibach” UCA is actually a SPC UCA that they put in an Eibach box and charge about $50 less.
    3. The Eibach rear shock says it can handle 0-1” due to liability concerns but they can actually go quite a bit taller if needed. The guy I talked to said he has that shock with a 2” AAL and hasn’t had any issues and has full articulation still. I also talked to someone from TacomaBeast and they had the same shock and 2” Deaver leafs and never had issues with it. They upgraded to king shocks later on just because of how much off-roading they were doing, but loved the Eibachs and highly recommended them.

    All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.
    Not bad, could be a lil better. Did you adjust the coils after installation?

    And that sounds more like a tire issue? New tires, not balance? Maybe you got aggressive mud terrains?

    So at just 9k miles on my truck I just got my new Pro Truck Coilover 2.0 Stage 2 kit installed and got it aligned and it rides SO much nicer now! I found myself looking for speed bumps because I couldn't believe they were completely absorbed...crazy smooth ride. I upgraded from factory suspension due to an RCI steel front bumper/winch combo on the way and needed to be able to adjust the ride height. I didn't know what I was doing so did not buy rear lift blocks and when I got it back it looked like a Calif cruiser with the front jacked way up and the rear squatting. Ugh.

    So I ordered and got the blocks and installed them myself (used a jack to lift the springs up to get the blocks in the hole) and it worked out great! Now it's level and I'm very happy. One thing though, I wish Eibach had made their spanner wrench even just one inch longer...it really does a job on the hands...(and yes, I finally figured out that I need to lift the cab before adjusting else they Won't Turn At All.)

    Driveway slopes slightly down to the left so it looks less level but it measures perfectly from hub to fender flare on each wheel.

    I raised the driver side slightly, and I am topping out.

    I don't recall raising passenger side.

    I also tried removing sway bar... Little to no difference, still top out and get a harsh slam.

    Can anyone measure what the *default* measurement is from bottom of thread? Curious if mine are different.

    I don't have the default measurements, but I've been surfing this thread for a while and a lot of people have the harsh slam problem, me being one of them. I am not over their recommended height, and I have to lower them to pretty much stock height to get no harsh slam. It's weird that a coilover advertised to provide lift has negative ride qualities when you set them to actually do so. I may be joining the many people that got so frustrated with it that they took them off completely.

    They ride perfectly fine on the highway and even offroad (at low speeds), but the second I hit any speed bump, pothole, or imperfection in the road going over 5MPH it's game over.

    My experience is the same. Amazing lift, nice and firm, great on highway/light off-road... But yeah any potholes or steep speedbumps and it's all over lol.

    Odd, I wonder what could be causing that. I have mine cranked up to provide close to 2" of lift with more preload on the drivers side and I have never had that experience. Would be nice if someone from Eibach would chime in and provide some insight from their end as they have posted ITT...Love mine, paired with Deaver stage 2s so actually over the recommended height in back. So far they've been great for me. That would thoroughly suck to do the install and have to have a do-over.
