A little late in posting the TruckVault installation. The install took longer than filling the drawers. Huge improvement over the Pelican Cargo Case in the back of the bed. More accessible, improved organization, and better utilization of bed space.

Body side molding, im happy with it. Measure 500 times, stick it on once.

And, a Sprint Booster. I must say, its makes me smile stepping on the gas. I wanted something i had complete control over, a tune isn't it. I can simply unplug this. And i honestly had no other complaints, but lately i want to pass someone in city traffic and the throttle doesnt always want me to. Now i can step on the gas and put my balls in my back pocket.
Worth 300? Eh, i dont know. But im happy with it.

Summer tires on, 32 bfgs in the above photos. This is with my favorite tires, 33inch coopers, but i prefer them for wheeling and winter. Save aome gas right now with them in the garage. I dont think it looks bad w the smaller tires and 3 inch lift.

they help a lot if you carry a lot of weight in the back...i carry a lot of weight and it helps make the ride smoother when riding down bumpy roads or bumps in general

@drtfabrication Hitch Skid finally showed up after the USPS took a week to transport it across what's normally a 3-ish hour drive lol. Looks great though, installed just in time for the weekend.

My dogs occasionally ride in the cab and if the copious amounts of hair doesn't alert you to that fact, the smell undoubtedly will.

Earlier this month I put a big nasty gouge in the trim plate of my steering wheel. I was reinstalling the front seat and being impatient about it.:mad:

So I decided to be cheap and order the tufskinz wheel trim in MGM, thinking surely that will cover my boo-boo. Who knew that they would send a MGM sticker... but that it would be both puffy and full of glitter.

My steering wheel now looks like a 12 year old's trapper keeper.:mad::mad: Sure, so does the rest of the truck, but I'd almost rather look at the gouge.

I don’t pull anything so I’m not going to be able to answer it 100% but I have noticed the back end is a bit more squishy in a way. Like you hit a bump and it’s not just a single up then down hard hit. It’s like 2-3 little up downs and then normal again. I’d definitely recommend them even if your not pulling stuff. The factory ones are shit. Just little pieces of rock hard rubber.

I always removed the bed mat when carrying loose dirt, then swept the bed out afterwards. The old 2nd Gen.

i test drove about 4 2nd gens about 2 years ago and passed on each of them because of dog smell and dog hair under the rear seat. I love dogs but they would never ride in the cab. Imo it drops the value of the truck just as would someone who smoked in the vehicle.

Weird. It really doesn't take much to have a vehicle professionally detailed. I won't hesitate to drop a couple hundred to have the seats and panels pulled, shampooed and cleaned before I sell any of mine.

Ya it didn’t make sense to me that they didn’t detail it well enough. My wife’s 2016 cx5 I bought used and it had a slight dog smell but I was able to clean it myself well enough to eliminate 80% of the smell. I need to take it to a professional and have all the carpets and seats cleaned

Did a full interior detailing, under hood detail , chassis pressure wash and a good exterior clean. Was driving it to work the last few weeks and the job site is super dusty and I made the mistake of parking under a tree and it dripped sap so I had to remove it and clean it. It’s now in the driveway under its truck cover. Will be driving the XB for the next month or so. The Toyota will get a rest.

I used to have a redneck parking garage at work, parked under an Oak tree. I would get what I had called Sap from it twice a year. Come to find out it wasn't Sap from the tree but Aphid dumps from millions of the bugs on the tree. It was organic so it would wash off easily but still a PITA to deal with.
