Im sure this has been discussed, but my phone is being a jerk and searching not really working.

Id prefer the oem bedmat, but Im finding it surprisingly hard to find at a price thats not marked up.

    Any reputable alternatives?

What do you need the bed mat for? I use mine for the ability to keep things from sliding around, OEM mat does an excellent job in that aspect, sometimes I'd think it's made with adhesive surface coating, nothing slides.

Most of us think Toyota OEM bed mat for Tacoma is very good thus not many use aftermarket

If you have a Wilco or farm supply near you check out the horse stall mats. The store near me has 4'X6' 3/4" thick rubber, in-store pickup for around $70.

    Oh look, another mod....
I never thought about that. That's a great idea! I looked up "Horse Stall Mat" at my local Tractor Supply, and found this:

    https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/4-ft-x-6-ft-x-3-4-in-thick-rubber-stall-mat

$45! I have a 5ft bed, so I would need to cut a foot off of it, but hell...that's an easy fix. I may do this and report back soon.

My local Tractor Supply has it in stock. That means free pickup! I may be picking this up tomorrow.

Looks heavy duty! At 94 lbs you have an excuse to upgrade your suspension... :woot:Hopefully cutting a foot off and the wheel well areas will lighten it up some.

They are heavy. Not easy to drag out to wash out your bed if that’s something you do regularly. Also, if you park inside a garage it’s going to smell like a tire fire in there for at least a year. Cutting them requires a new razor blade(s) in your box knife and some patience.

I found a bed mat out of a 1989 F150, I cut it down to size. Works great, and the price of free was perfect.

I even made sure I centred the Sport floor embossing... also suits my TRD Sport.

Report back with any findings. I’m looking for a mat and have a tractor supply just down the road. These are about half the price of a long bed, bed mat.

Did you apply the FREESHIP code at checkout? I just tried and it took shipping off.

As far as the tractor supply 94lb mat you might want to see if they have something lighter... the oem one is only 30lbs and around a 1/2" thick.

    Thanks guys,
I want it for the stickiness more than the protection of the bed. Of course thats a plus. I realize most here go with the OEM and thats why I initially was going that route. Seems like a must have first mod.
I did find that dealer as well as a few others online with that 83 price tag, but shipping was 76...LOL. I called a few dealers closest to me and they dont have it in stock but could order for the listed 115.
Honestly, not trying to be a cheapskate, just wondering if anyone went with another that was suitable. It sounds like the OEM is the way to go though.
As far as horse stall mats, I have 4 of them in my basement gym. Perfect for under the squat rack and as a deadlift platform to protect flooring. They are incredibly thick and heavy. hard as hell to manuever actually. While they are not slippery by any means, there is not a rubber sticky feel to them either. Id guess that if used as a bed mat, things could slide around rather easily on them.
Ill just keep looking for the OEM one as thats what I really want and Ill take your guys word for it that its the best option out there.

Edit- just tried and says FREESHIP not valid promo code
