I'm about to get LED headlights for my 2020 trd sport and I have couple questions if anyone can answer.
    1. Which headlights to get? Trd Pro LED headlights or non LED headlights?
They look the same just one has trd pro labels on the front. Is one better than the other?

    2. Is USR harness just as good as FBC one for the upgrade?
I see many get FBC but its double the price..

    Thanks guys!!

The Pro headlights are going to be the best ones you can buy for light output and looks. Get the FBC harness. It costs more but it's handmade by a member who stands behind his work.

never cheap out on harnesses, it's the least place you want to have failure.
I'd say go Pro lights, why not for the same price you get a cool logo trademark

Pro ones look better to me. They are a black housing, but you will have trd and pro branded on the headlights. Regular ones have a chrome bezel.

I would get in line for an FBC harness. If you have any issues, @daveeasa is very helpful with trouble shooting anything you run into

I went with the non-TRD Pro OEM LEDs.

Buy the harness from FBC (Dave Easa)! I did along with many other forum members. Dave's harness is very high quality (labled, secure connectors, includes extra body panel clips, ect.) I can tell you Dave stands behind what he makes and he's gone above and beyond to help forum members with questions or troubleshooting should you have an issue in the future. That alone is worth a premium. Some members have purchased other harness options and come back to Dave to purchase his harness afterwards.

Another vote for pro LED headlights. Cosmetically they have PRO and TRD badging on the front and don't have the chrome strip across the top like the regular led headlights. Functionally the Pro and regular headlights have the same light output and sequential turn signals as the regular led headlights.

The Pro's cost about $7 a piece more than the regular led headlights.

A four figure headlight upgrade deserves the best harness you can get. Don’t be cheap there. No problems with my FBC harness.

Out of curiosity, which harness is $40 for a pair? The eBay options?

I’m not familiar with USR as a brand.

for TRD conversion, it’s just wires and terminals. I won’t pretend anything I have is functionally superior to anything else.

I do source OEM connectors for everything (except male H9 which have no OEM spec as OEM is bulbs only). But it’s all just plastic, wire and metal terminals. If done properly, it all works fine.

I once dissected an ebay harness and didn’t find or see anything wrong with it. But for sure it used knockoff connectors.

Whatever the choice, it’s not crazy dangerous to me to drive during the day without headlights and it’s pretty easy to replace just the harness. The far bigger question to answer is pro or not pro

I would (and did) go with the non-Pros. Something about putting parts that say TRD PRO on them on a non TRD pro truck just doesn’t sit right with me.

I think there's a vendor/member here who paints headlights, you send them the non-pro LEDs and they would get rid of the chrome and paint the inside black and ship back to you for several hundred dollars labor.

That's the best of both worlds if poser pro bothers you.

Good option for those who want dark, personally I like the way the non pros look anyways though.

Toyota also has a non Pro LED headlamp available with TRD Sports and TRD Off Roads. These ones don't have the TRD Pro in the lower section.

    I would go OEM only.

I agree, was too loose with the Pro comment. What I meant was OEM LED :rasta:

last time I looked into them, they still required tapping into the fuse box for DRL

Is there a solution to get DRL without add a fuse now? Like what @daveeasa 's raptor light plug and play harness

Go with Dave's harness...these OEM LED Headlights cost me $1200+.

If you're gonna spend that kinda money on upgrade, might as well get a quality harness.
