If there have been so many “amazing medical breakthroughs” in the last 30 years, why did I feel so much better 30 years ago?

 

25 years in ABQ. We’d go sit on the (flat) roof and drink coffee and watch. If the wind was right, we’d have 100’s float on by waving at us.

Why are people so ungrateful? I’m reading an obituary that says “He died unexpectedly at home at the age of 88”. If I live that long I want mine to say that I lived unexpectedly until the age of 88.

Ever hear a song that changes your mood? I have hundreds of songs on my phone and play them on random all day at work and sometimes at home. This song isn’t even in my top 10 Van Halen songs but when it hits in the rotation, it just does something for me.

 

The last hotel I stayed in, I asked for a wake up call.
She said “You’re 60. You drink too much, smoke too much, your diet is atrocious and you’ve achieved nothing in your life”
