I feel like I’ve seen it on a Tacoma, or maybe a tundra, where the side mirror is cut away to accept the s2s into, and allowed some positioning still, could be worth seeing about that route.

 

Man we have been getting SO WET out here in QC. I moved my air intake up against the firewall and up in the air off the fender

 

Yeah it looks slick as hell, but it's an even bigger can of worms than the bolt-on mount.

I'm fine with the ditch brackets. The caliraised mounts put them nice and low and the S2 combo pattern shouldn't splash off the hood too bad.

 

But aren’t you mr. Overthink and over due the simple? So this fits your style

I've been trying to get away from that, honestly. To step back and take a breath and think if I'm just raising my blood pressure and spending 2x the effort for a tiny gain.


I'm working on it, at least.

 

Yeah that particular person spent a while with bondo and smoothing out the cut edges / repainting. It came out REALLY nice. I don't have that level of paintwork skill, it would look like dogshit if I attempted that.

Progress. Bedsides mounted along with chase lights and jack. Gave them a bit of a dovetail to make the bodywork a bit narrower in the rear since I opted out of bobbing the bed. Took about 10” off the overall width at the tail lights

I’m in the windshield replacing business. Why would I warn people lol.

Not like this thing sees much pavement. Or that anyone could keep up within 200 feet when off road
