I was off of Military Rd and 348th, so it was actually Auburn. It's been a while since I've even thought about that! Edge of the valley, sheep shit stench or the "aroma of tacoma" depending which way the draft was moving through the valley.

I agree. I’m interested in buying some property in WVa so it’d be cool to talk to someone who has land out that way.

Just crushed a pound of peel and eat steamed shrimp. God, I didn’t know how badly I needed that. Been doing fish and chips all week long, but I needed something good to end the vacation with. Man was it worth it, too.

And for all you MD’ers, butter doesn’t have shit on Old Bay. I f’ing love Old Bay!!!!

No problem man glad it worked out for everybody. I was pushing it pretty hard in the agroup of guys I go riding with. They all said they wanted a RTR but didn’t wanna spend the money. Hands-down you pretty much gave that thing away at that price. HE then ended up buying a trailer from me to put it on. This is him about an hour after he left you installing it on his roof with a buddy.

I was really surprised that it didn't sell last year because I priced it to be a 'good deal'. Maybe if I had it listed at $1K it would have sold in a few days... Whatever, he seemed like a good guy and he and his family will get some great memories out of it. He did send me a few pics of the tent up on his 'runner, I'm curious to see it on the trailer that he was describing to me.

    Morning MD!

    AYE!!!

I have this same basic set up, and love Eibach! Their quality is hands down, top notch! Ryan @ Eibach is awesome to deal with, helped me with getting right where I wanted my truck to be. I ended up using their 2.0 adjustable collar coil overs with rear shocks, but opted to go with Supreme Suspensions 1.5” billet rear block… just for a tad more height. Topped it off with a set of Camburg UCA’s.

Here’s a quick comparison of the two Eibach kits, so you can see what I’m talking about…

    DD36D184-B04D-4336-831D-EEAE41F2F463.jpg

Either way, you can’t go wrong. I’ve been running Eibach kits on my vehicles for over 20 years… tuner cars to muscle cars to now trucks… not a single problem. Do wish I had known they were coming out with their new rear reservoir shocks… they look sweet!! Not sure if my rears will fit, but when wife gets her T4R, I may swap these over and get my self a upgrade in the rear ;) She’ll never know!

…keep us posted as you go. Love watching other truck builds as they progress.

Morning MD. On our way out of the OBX now. Had to get my last fill up on non ethanol in. This should last us the entire drive back to NOVA. Debating on getting a hotel today about halfway, we’ll see what happens. Hope everyone has a good Saturday ahead of them.

I have a Toytec 2 1/2 - 3 inch Boss Aluma series lift with SPC uppers on my truck. It’s a good set up but it’s a little soft up front on the trails. The ride on the road is really good it’s like riding on air. I’ve had this set up for a year and a half and thinking about upgrading the front shocks to something a little stiffer for off-roading. No part to the shocks just my experience level is getting better and want something a bit more stiffer in the front.

Second pic is lifted if you can’t tell.

I think we talked about this but it you think the IM springs would work on your kit, I have the 820# springs that I took off. They are for 2.5” diameter shocks and have flat top and rounded bottom for the spring perch. You can kinda see what I mean in this pic

I may lose my Tacoma man card but I am now thinking of doing front spacers until I really make up my mind. Do a few other little things I want to do and add the suspension later. Living with ADD/ASD is hell.
