    I think he's for whomever will give him the most support, which was why he left Chevrolet in the first place. His relationship only soured with Ford after the whole Kyle Larson debacle.

    It's a possibility, but no one thinks that will happen before NASCAR moves to their new engine in a couple of years because there'd be no point in spending the money on R&D on something they're already planning to phase out.

    Yeah, they have previously mentioned wanting to go to a hybrid engine by 2024. Or at least developing one by then.
