There's actually a guy in the YW thread (I think?) trying to decide between purchasing the YW tune or selling his SC. Could be an option depending on how that goes.

That's exactly where my mind went as well. I'll be keeping a watch out for anyone selling a used blower for sure.

If they'd been willing to sell me the tuner kit I likely would've scooped it up. I've had SC on my brain lately.

They will not. I recently emailed them and asked. I already have the tuning kit.
When/If I go Magnuson I’ll just sell mine I guess

I did a normal drive yesterday on a fully refreshed gas tank of 93 octane. Did about 130 miles of actual normal driving up and down hills here in Virginia (to colonial beach) and averaged just over 18mpg. I'm stock wheel size (265) nitto ridge, and racks, skids, and stuff. So, that's pretty good considering I normally get 14 mpg with my crazy aggressive driving. It's hard not to get aggressive since the SC and YW tune is so responsive. The driving has just been way more fun when needed. I did have a Dodge suv that was on my butt last week and he blew me away once I moved to the right, but I recognized that it may have been a trackhawk. He wasn't racing me, but he def had some HP in that thing!

I recently went on a camping trip to Oregon from California. Once I crossed over I had a quarter tank of Cali gas that I averaged 10.5 city and 12.5 highway. Filled up 3/4 Oregon gas and immediately went to 14.5mpg. Second tank with all the Cali gas out went up to 17.5 . Cali gas is more expensive and is cut. I was fully loaded.

Even if the gas was a year old you wouldn’t get that much of difference in MPG without other fueling issues. Road conditions, driving speeds, wind, and grades can change MPGs that much though.

Here in Texas I drive the same 200 mile route at the exact same speed twice a week. I’ve gotten as low as 12MPG and as high as 19MPG. The most common MPG I see is 14.8 going a steady 84mph unloaded with highway tires.

    Need a little help troubleshooting:

While loading the latest 87mm Pulley test tune from @mZiggy, I realized I didn't hear the Supercharger coolant pump kick on. It doesn't always do it, but I'd say generally it does and causes a voltage drop you can see in VFTuner.

I let the engine run and pulled the coolant reservoir tank cap and saw still coolant inside - no flow from the pump running.

I then checked the fuse tap and fuse connection inside the fuse box - seemed fine.

Checked the inline 15A fuse coming off the wiring harness from the pump - fuse looked good.

Checked the plug on the pump itself - looked good.

So I'm not sure what's next... Bad pump? Electrical issue I didn't think of?

@Freerdr17 actually recently had an issue with his pump. Here's what he'd sent me regarding resolution:

"I found the issue. The wire connector on the back of the pump was not sealed. Pins were corroded on pump. They have since revised the wiring hardness to include a sealed connection. But, they failed to mention that anytime before."

While driving his pump wasn't working and his temps were getting super high.

    @mZiggy Good to know.

I have no idea how long my truck has been running like this...hopefully I didn't cause any damage to the SC.

@Freerdr17 What did Magnuson say? Did they send you a new wiring harness for the pump?

They sent him both a new pump and harness. I sent him a link to your post above because he's not too active here on TW.

Yes, after going back and forth with them for a week they finally sent me a new pump and short wiring adapter. Once I received the pump, it’s a different pump all together. This new one makes almost zero noise, and has been great for a week. The pins on the old pump were corroded. I cleaned them up and it worked again while I was waiting for the new pump.

    SUPERCHARGED EMBLEM

It seems like I’ve came across a SUPERCHARGED emblem that mimics the PRO emblem under the mirror.
Has anyone seen these and know where they can be found?

Could just do a Google search and see what comes up.

When I had my twin turbo Tacoma, I found an emblem in the "Police Interceptor" style and font that said Twin Turbo, really liked it and put it on my truck

Ya, I’ve done a little searching but nothing popped up quickly.

it seems like the one I saw was red and black with a font that matched the taco nicely.

I’m usually too picky to add something like this to my vehicles but I MAY consider it if it was a quality product.

I had these on my truck for about an hour, made it look too busy in my opinion. Got them on Amazon.

Ahhh. A little too much eh?
    Is yours a Pro?
I was hoping for something that just reads SUPERCHARGED.

I only had my Twin Turbo badge on the tailgate, it was the only spot that I liked for it.
