Had a great time Sat.! Talked to ex-MIL on the way home, she's having a hard time but is a strong woman (German) and will adjust. Already sourced a new pressure gauge for the inflator and found new alligator clips for the power connection on the pump as the stupid setup that came with got really hot (too many connections/too thin wire).

Couldn't have expected better weather! Virtually no mosquitoes or deer flies and gnats weren't too bad. And no ticks either. :bananadance:

It was a great weekend with a great group! Fun as always with the usual suspects and was great to meet @rubbersidedown and Mario. Hope to see you again at a future get-together!

Agreed. Both the group and the trails were fantastic. More photos coming soon as I start clearing off the cards.

That last one with @Thatbassguy pointing at the map in a trail strategy session is the best.

It was a great weekend. Bit dusty on Friday, dust is better than ticks and mosquitoes. Nice meeting @Pixeltim and @rubbersidedown.
Driving home on 141 I got see a Vette hit a dog kennel. He passed me as we came up to debris in the road . I slowed down so he could move over. But he didn't. He hit it head on and it went under the car.
Powerwashed the truck. Anyone need any sand.

Amazing time, and I echo all said above. Thanks for having me and making me feel welcome in every way.

I created a Google photo album and added a few pics and videos from what I had. You all should be able to see it, and I think you should be able to add your own if you'd like, but I'm not certain how this works. Somebody try and let me know if you need permission or anything.

My normal response to a post such as that one is a bit negative, but I've been influenced by some outstanding people as of late so I have tried a different response.
That post got 45 likes in the first half hour and not a single negative.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. They're great!

Keeping it classy. I read some of the comments all seemed positive. @Pixeltim is the official liaison to the people of the north woods

It's really an amazing group. I can chat with and find much in common with everyone I've met in that group.

Meh, don't acknowledge it. It's a loosing battle that will derail the whole conversation. Ignore and carry on.

Yeah, I've stayed entirely positive and the thread has done the intended job well.

Another good trip in the books, and plenty of cleaning to follow before the next one.

I got mine spayed down. Tomorrow the interior gets done. But first I need to do skid plate repair.

Thanks Pat, but I really can't take credit for that.

The harpy's post bugged me all night so on the long ride home, I was thinking through a proper response and at the end of the 3 hour drive, all I could think of was "Fuck off you harpy bitch!".

I went back to the drawing board and got out my trusty old manual Underwood typewriter. (You do know what a typewriter is? Surely you've seen one in a museum at some point).

I went through reams of paper they out different thoughts and ideas and it all came to naught.

Desperate for a proper response, I reached out to my sister. She, being a former cheerleader has always had an insufferably cheery disposition and she is currently an author with almost a dozen successful teen romance books under her belt.
Given those impeccable qualifications, I thought she would be the perfect person to craft a proper response.

I called her and discussed it with her at length and after much consideration, she told me that the harpy bitch should shut up and fuck off.

I told her that would just not do. She told me she could get the creative juices going for $250, I countered with a single Benjamin, cash. She bit.

That's what she came up with.
