RCR is not an option. While angry with him, ol’ Pop-pop never put Reddick in a chokehold and punched him in the head repeatedly like he did Kyle Busch

And yet RCR is still rumored to be one of the interested parties when they weren't only a couple of weeks ago. But, then again, everything is a rumor at this time.

I think a KB to Kaulig Racing is announced after Daytona and before the first playoff race

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Kyle should use his win total across all three series for a car #, so it would just keep counting up. 224 I think is where he stands. Imagine how intimidating looking at his car would be. I suspect you are correct and he will be at Kaulig Racing. And I think that would be a good change for him. Matt will put Leaf Filter on the side of the car and will not care what he does or says as long as he wins.

LOL, I would not care if he did. The only # that should not be on the track is the 3 in my opinion.

I do not disagree but also do not mind the 43 still running because Richard is still involved in it and owns at least a portion of the number and gave it his blessing. Dale died in the 3 and no way in hell would he be okay with it being represented the way it is now. I lost all respect for RC when he allowed his spoiled brat grandchild to talk him into running not only the number but the same font.

I do not respect Richard Petty as the King of NASCAR either. I mean back in the day, sure he was good but his cars were so cheated up and he had such backing that the majority of those wins would have been with whoever was lucky enough to drive that car.

Austin suffers from a lack of identity and has made a career of trying to steal one from the people who earned them.

Agreed on your point with Sr. and the 3.

Petty was the first NASCAR champion. He has 200 wins that will never be surpassed and 7 Cup Championships. Those numbers are alone enough, in my opinion, to hang that number in the rafters to never be used again

If it becomes Busch-Kaulig Racing, give him the #51. If he just joins as a driver with no ownership stake, likely the #16 car, though it'd be neat if they ran the #31 and #51.

I do not disagree that those numbers are enough to retire the 43. My issue is that he earned those wins and championships while driving a car that was vastly illegal for the most part. That tarnishes those achievements in my mind but again have no issue with Petty. Was really a little before my time. By the time I started watching he was mostly washed up and out there just riding around but he always carried himself well and that has to stand for something.

I mean give one guy 100 extra HP every week and a distinct aerodynamic advantage for a long period of time and I expect you would see a lot of success.

In your opinion, what happens to KBM? They stay Toyota, go to Chevy if KB becomes part owner of Kaulig? Or does KBM dissolve?

KBM goes where KB goes. I'd have to look again but I think the truck series is dominated by Toyota's although KBM is their top development camp. I suspect that would switch to ThorSport.
