Thats what I did when I blew the joint on my lca's lol just bought new lca's! Thats when I had to use Chads press to pop them off the little holder thing!

 

Not really . You have a 2-3rd gen or 1st gen .


I know 2-3rd gens or a bolt-in bolt out hub assembly. the 1st gen's those are press in press out bearings .

you can normally pick up the hub bearing assembly for around 200 bucks and just bolt it in and bolted out for 2-3rd gens

 

gotcha . I have a spare set of lower control arms that I need to go ahead and rebuild with the better bushings and heavy duty ball joints for the 4Runner

 

Yeah I got new LCAs UCAs, etc. Only think I'm keeping is the knuckles. I'm talking about the wheel bearings in the knuckle. 1st gen 4WD.

 

I forgot to bring the dakars and my old lca's I'll drop them off one day!

 

Ok yeah those are no bolt and assemblies normally have to take knuckle off, press them out and press them in

I just realized though that there's a guy right down the road with a garage shop, he might have a press i can use.

 

Adam has replaced a few hubs for me.

 

Might be more than you need, but I bought a set of rebuilt knuckles complete from @zippsub9 for my '98 Taco and just gave him my old set. He does fantastic work and made my life much easier.

 

I talked with him the other day. I might see what he can do.
