I believe they had problems in the past, but have upped their game in recent years. I also have a Radical with no issues.

What I realized is most shops have more ammunition "in the back". Showing all the ammo you carry is difficult as a stockroom show case is only so large. If you didn't buy ahead, it's your own fault. You buy now so you don't have to rush out and buy more later.

Cheater post. Recently bought some 550 cord and finally landed on a plan for a hunting rifle sling. I’m happy with how it’s turning out. Adding pics

Oh as you well know, there’s plenty factory loaded,,, people just can’t understand the impact inflation has had on costs, so they seem to claim it’s unavailable cause they don’t like the modern price and/or can’t afford.

If anyone is a jackass, it's the person that thinks the world should cater to them instead of learning to adapt to different situations, especially in this current market. If someone thinks ammo is just going to magically be available whenever they fancy, that's their problem, not the guy who was smart and bought it when it was in stock. It's nobody else's business to tell someone how much ammo they should or shouldn't buy anyway.

I don’t have a dog in this fight because I just don’t care what other folks do with their money. I get what I’m comfortable getting when I decide to but couldn’t care less if somebody only stocks a box or two or a tractor trailer load. If it irritates folks others buy more than they do, we’ll, idk what to tell them but casting blame either way when we all have the same opportunities is counter productive. Get what you are comfortable with or don’t. Go into debt to do it or don’t. Just adult decisions we all make and we are all different.
@Pismo this isn’t aimed at you either just a neutral statement

    I agree.

What I don't agree with is when someone has inside connections at a local retailer and when they get a shipment in, several friends and family members are called and the ammo sits in the back until most of them get there. Then it's being picked over by them before it even gets to the shelf.

And those who would buy it then take it to the flea market to sell at an inflated price.

Agreed. My take is something like this: I probably have more ammo than I *need* for a scenario that may very well never take place. If an actual SHTF scenario does unfold, people that have closets or rooms full of ammo must feel extremely confident that they’ll stay alive long enough to shoot all of it.

I have enough to lay low, defend myself and my loved ones, and hopefully stay alive long enough to acquire more from those less fortunate when I do start to run low. Crazy stuff to think about…

No I can’t say I would agree with any of that either. Is it resentment on my part I don’t have those kinds of connections? Perhaps, or I just see it as folks trying to make a quick Buck at our exspenses. While I may not agree with it that kinda is the way things work though buy low sell high

Yep having enough, to me just means not running out. I don’t care to ever use it for more than fun and yes those types of scenarios are scary to think of but in the current global or national climate I think you are doing a disservice to yourself and family if it goes ignored. Being a little bit of a prepper is not a bad thing to me.

No worries. I didn't take it that way, and agree with everything you said. It's none of my business how other people spend their time and money, same as it's none of their business how I spend mine. I might feel differently if I lived in a small town and knew everyone personally, but there's no way in hell I'm going to limit my purchases for some Joe Blow off the street that doesn't know me from Adam, or give a damn about me.

Instead of giving everyday gun owners who are just trying to adapt to the situation a hard time, it might be better for people to point their fingers at the government, and ask why every agency from the Department of Education to the IRS suddenly needs stockpiles of millions of rounds.
